MPC2000xl

Doing some beats for a friends flash animation and they want a tempo increase.. speeding up actually... rather than just a one off change.

I know how to step edit the changes.. but was thinking (im at work at the moment and not near the machine to test).. can you record Tempo changes with the Jog wheel?? did a few searches on here but wasnt really successful... has anyone tried this or found a faster way than stepping?? something with a bit more natural feel...

I'll give it a go in the next few days when i get home to the beast..

cheers...

sory buddy, you cannnot

what u can do is stop the beat and hit open window on the tempo value and change it there,

or you can just do it bar by bar, or half bar by bar. thats what i do...tempo changes are the ish

you might even wanna make several one-bar sequences with different tempes, then link em together in song mode, and convert it back into a sequence

just a thought, hope it helps...
