If you guys do it again, you should make a rule: No excuses. It's pretty lame to take time to listen to cat's beats and then have them be like, "well it really wasn't finished."

C'mon, there's no excuses in battles.
Shuuuut uup!

i want there to be more battles on the forums. of the last four, i think i was involved in 2 or 3...

im actually a little nervous about spesh cuz of all the kids i've battled yet i feel spesh is more in my spectrum of things.

however, i might have something special for him.

I like both beats. Nyms beat was his style, DJ-T's was his style. I don't really think you can judge the two beats against each other because they're in different worlds. I would think that you both would start with the same sample, or some sort of unifying aspect that you both would have to deal with.

That being said... dj-t the beat was nice though the sample has been used before for a tupac song or something. Nym's shit was cool too but the beatboxing did sound white as hell and kind of got annoying after a while.

I'll give my vote to swayze cause the guy did an interview with XXL last month. Yeah just cause he did an interview.

Why not make the next beat with the same sample?

Look NYM , no disrespect partna don't mean to sound harsh just the way I talk, some of the NYC in me,but for real send me any kinda of beat you make the rules how much time whatever! let's do this, I've been in the game to long,so belive me I can flip a church beat, house, tech, it doesn't matter or to even it up heck someone find a beat or sample for me and NYM to flip it's really nothing to,like I said I've been in the music biz along time, It's not the Player's that change it's the game. So Let's do this homie!

No fear man. Win or lose it's all fun. When do you want to get this one going? And what rules are we going by? Same samples? Just make a beat and post, time, ect? Let me know. I've been going non-stop lately.

anything. if you want to send me a sample that we will both work off of, i could do that. but people need to remember that i very rarely use only one sample, i usually use up to 6 at varying degrees of use. so the beat cannot be set to just 1 sample, that's a lot of limitation and potentially makes for one hell of a simple beat.

for you and me, since our styles seem geared more in the same direction, i doubt we even need a same sample. we could probably get away with just doing our own thing and posting it up.

Alright Nym lets set this for Sunday. I have a battle I'm in for mainehiphop.com right now but this weekend I'll use all the insight you've shared to my advantage and serve you with something funky fresh. I'll have to break away from the emo hop stuff I been making lately.
