Last MPC Question

ok well im about to jam back to NY and work there, to save up for my MPC 1k. I'd just like to ask some last questions. correct me of im wrong


i can sample mp3 using the usb, right??

and most inportant

i have a sk-one mixer, i dont want to record scratches on the mpc, i just want to sample vinyl, can i just connect it to the mpc using master record?? or do i need a diffrent connection??

THe MPC1000 CANNOT READ mp3s get an converter but if u want to play the mp3's on your computer and record that into the mpc1000 then thats a different thing.

When u sample into the mpc1000 take the OUTS from your MIXER to the RECORD IN on your MPC1000.

where can i get the converter?? im guessing it a program.

BTW i notice when i was downloading software, i saw akai mpc 1000 samples, they had diffrent sound like asian theme, drum kits, ect.... can i download them and sample them passed usb??
