Post your views and questions about the Akai MPC2500

I see that you can buy black, grey, and yellow pads from VST...I was just wondering if these are high-quality pads like the originals on the 2500 from Akai...I think the black would be sharp but I want to make sure I'm not downgrading my pad quality...thanks!!

As far as I can judge the black ones from VST are the same quality as the original ones. Of course there will always be someone to tell you that the 2500 pads are not as soft as the 2000 ones....but oh well... :wink:

I got the black pads from vst.

compared to the stock grey ones, they feel "softer", not in a bad way. but I noticed a difference at first, only because I was used to the feel of the grey pads.

they're still just as sensitive and everything right?? like the feel of them is quality??

where is this place you guys talk about that sell these colored pads? i just copped me an mpc2500 and just curious about any accessories that might be out there....

I have the red ones for my 2500.........i agree.
