The MPC 3000 is the greatest MPC ever created. I seriously doubt anyone would have regrets picking one up.

actually got it off ebay, i called the guy who was selling it before i bid. won it for £430. went and picked it up last week.

im gonna fit a new back light, upgrade the memory, put new pads in it and clean it up a bit. i've ordered most of the parts i need for it already.

:)

Check out the SoundOnSound forum ADs if you're buying in the UK.

I got my mint 3KLE off a guy in Huddersfield (it came with its Turnkey receipt for £2000+) and contacted at least two blokes in London offering classic 3Ks before I got that.

yep i got a good deal. but to be fair it does need work doing on it to get it back to a good condition. it works fine and everything it just needs a couple a small things taking care of.. which i'm happy to do

- replacement backlight
- memory upgrade
- data entry wheel has come loose
- missing slider

i've pretty much taken care of all of the above (have ordered all the parts i need) except for the data entry wheel, which i'm gonna see if i can fix when i open her up.

have also ordered some replacement pads, the ones that are on there work fine but they are a little dirty.

couple of the buttons have come a little loose (although they still work perfectly fine).. again, i should be able to fix these when i open her up.

have also picked up some compressed air and screen wipes to clean her up inside. looking forward to banging this b!tch once i've taken care of these issues.
