MPC2000 - Pros and cons

Ok, I've just bought the MPC2000 in real good condition for $400. What are the MPCs pros and cons??? Should I sell it?

Did u buy it for an investment(to make money from it) or did u get it b/c u needed it for production. If u dont have an mpc then keep it. Also the value depends on the condition, items included, and the options added on.

i bought for production, only a zip thingy followed, nothing else. Plus there is slight line on the screen...

Well there u go right there. Why even bring up selling it? By the way u probally wouldnt get more than 500 for it i know i wouldnt pay that much because it doesnt have 8 outs and plus the screen will need replacing. But i know a bunch of people who can get them for 400 without the 8 outs but maxed memory.

I say if u bought it for production why not use it for production.

Uh yes. But dont tell me u didnt know it had a messed up screen before u bought it. All u gotta do is replace it. Costs 190 to replace.

Well why arent u? If u only have a few lines u should still be able to navigate throught the screen. Go ahead and purchase a new screen and use the one u have until your new one comes. Sitting hear debating wont help u make beats. But if it were me i'd be replacing the screen thats how i have a 2k now. Bought it for 200 bucks screen was completely gone so i replaced it and ever since no problems.

I dont know of ne places in Europe though u could prolly do a search or ask around on the site but VST does ship worldwide but the S&H will probally be a killer. If you can return it then return it for another one with a working screen if you can. Not sure who u bought it from but maybe they have another MPC in that you could afford. Dont know.
