Memory

So i went out and picked up a 256meg ram for my 1000. I installed it and its giving me an error.

PASS 1 : Failed 8c000000

The problem was found in memor. Please check memory.

Its all the way down and locked in. Not sure what the problem is the memory type is exactly what i was told to get.

pc133 256mg cl3 sodimm 144 pin.

That's probably an error message, indicating a faulty bit. This is a *normal* thing. It happens.

You should exchange it for a new one.
