Yet another 8 outs question

Is it possible to assign tracks to the outs as opposed to individual sounds?

hmmm... isn't that exactly what the 8 outs are for????? I really don't get what ur trying to ask....

Well I know that indivdual sounds can be assigned to the outs. I want to know if you can assign tracks to the outs so that EVERY sound that is on the track can be assigned to a single output. Get me?

No, thats not how the mixer is designed. It goes by pad only. You would have to make sure that all pads you play in that track are all asigned to the same output. So if you have several different snare samples, it makes sense to assign them all to the same out and you can easily sequence them in the same track.

If u are so skeptical about having tracks outputed then look at like this whatever is on pad 1 but that on track 1 whatever is on pad 2 put that on track 2. Now go to the mixer assign 1 to whatever out and 2 to whatever out. Its not actually the tracks but the pads getting assigned but in your mind u will be thinkin u are routing the tracks.

Gotta think outside the box sometimes sweetie. This is a solution but other options can be taken as stated above.
