I am having a issue with my mpc telling my zoom streetbox what noteas to play. I can not get it to do any program / kit changes. I have read both manuals several times but i must be missing something. I am currently in the step edit screen trying to change the program info there but to no avail. Any help suggestions greatfully appreciated.

i read that but i have no clue what this means

First found out what the MSB ID is on this board ,it should be between 0-127. Let me give an example.

Lets say I have a Proteus 2000 w/mo-phat chip in it. If I want to demo a sound usely in the edit mode it will show Pan,volume, name of the instrument, and MSB-number/LSB-Bank number.
Proteus 2000 might have user's banks 0-4 /ID or MSB would be 08 and LSB-Banks would be 0-4. Now that's the user's banks.
Proteus 2000 Program Banks ,MSB might be 04 and however many program banks it has depends-like let's say it has 1-7 banks ,then LSB-0 would be turned to 1-7.

firstly, thanks for the time.

i've got an mpc1000 and a novation nova synth. i want to control the nova with the 1k. when i make a midi connection tho, all the pads play midi notes, where as i just want one pad for each midi note and one pad for audio samples.
