Pitch shift

I looked in the manual and try'd all the different pre sets. I was wondering if anyone could explain the pre sets and how they effect the pitch.

I search'd too and did not find anything worth while.

really? It can really help make some "happy" trumpets and chellos sound "dark".

Its a good function i think , asside from doing the popular vocal "shift" that everyone and there mom is doin. I think you could do alot of tyte tricks with it juist wanna learn more about it from ya gurus.

I didnt get the question? You can change the pitch in the program view or under trim mode you can edit the pitch.

i think he's talking about different algorithms. i believe it gives you the option of a couple different ones, but i couldn't tell you which is which. I've never used pitch shift either.

There are presets for different algorithms eg "HFREQ RHYTHM A". From memory I think the "A" "B" or "C" at the end correspond.... wait I just looked it up. Can't be bothered typing out p.58 of the manual. You can read it.

Yeah I had never used pitch shift either until yesterday. I had a 2 note sample and the second note sounded a little out of tune so I just selected it with the Qlinks and tuned it up a bit. It worked well except it turned out I was just tripping and the note wasn't really out of tune and I changed it back.
