Hi, although I'm not new to producing I'm new to Motu and I really really need your help coz I'm fed up of recording through a shit quality laptop sound card because I don't know how to work my Motu properly.
All I'm trying to do is record my final beat onto my laptop VIA Motu 828 MKII. I can do this fine if I am not using Reason as a sound module, but nearly all my beats contain Reason sounds. I am using my MPC to sequence and for the drums, my laptop for Reason, and Motu as a midi controller and all goes into a mixer.
I have uploaded a test audio file for you to hear - I think you will agree something is not right
http://www.hostresource.ws/uploader/fil ... _audio.mp3
The echoey distortion is the problem and makes it almost unlistenable
I figure this is happening because Motu is producing the Reason sounds and effectly it is trying to record itself, along with the drums from my MPC.. but all the MPC sounds are fine it's just Reason.
Any help at all will be appreciated. Cheers
