Looping part using sforge 6

Hello I read the tutorial about loopin in sforge so please no flaming.....


I have this bass sound I looped in sforge but when I loaded it in mpc well the looped part isnt there. What I did was set up the loop then sample edit click sustaining then fine tune the looped part then saved to disk, loaded disk to mpc but it wasnt sustaining... it was just regular. Is there like an extra thing I forgot to do?

Damn I had to relooped everything on my mpc which is kinda hard since its a hit or miss when you do it from there...

Did you hit the save icon on Soundforge? That should have overwritten the previous sample version. If you didn't use the icon it would have requested a overwrite response. If not you didn't save any changes at all.

yes I saved as ..... then when I played it on mpc it was still normal with no sustain at all

it's been a long time since I tried using a sustained sample. Try playing the sample with the loop function off on the trim screen and with it on and compare the results. I only used it once and that was a while back. Can't remember how things turned out though. Sorry I couldn't add more!

ive tried but it still wont sustain... I guess I gotta do it in mpc for now
