stuck pad?????

I appear to have a pad that is dead, but when i press the note repeat button i can the sound repeating, anyone had a similiar experience or know of anyways to stop this happening???

If you can hear it with note repeat, it can't be dead, can it?

Try turning the MPC on with an empty memory. If it stil happens, try a factory reset...hold Erase while turning it on.

thanks man, i turned it off for a while, switched it back on and it seems to be ok.

I must of pressed something i shouldnt, just showing off my newbieness to this machine, hell its only been 2 days so i cant be doing that bad.

had the same problem dont think its a pad problem more an os one......just turned it off and on and ish worked fine never happened again

glad its not a one off then, I only upgraded the machine with Hard drive and ram yesterday so was a little freaked when that happened.

happened again today ....fcuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuk! .... PRESSING NOTE REPEAT PAD 13 PLAYS! Its weird because when I go to the mixer or in programs when i go to put a filter on pad 14 pad 13 will appear ! aswell in the mixer

is it a pad fcuk up or an os one ????????????????????????????? I have no idea

im new to the mpc but from wht people are saying this seems like an os glitch, mine is also pad 13.

aint gonna hate though, this machine is ill, some of the saving and loading seems a bit backwards, buut hey ive just regressed from the computer age back to the analog.

this is happining to often now.....!

ok anyhow back to the question at hand.....pad problem or os?

i have a similar problem with my pads, it happens not everytime but its strange.

somtimes when i hit pad1 it plays the sample of pad2 or 3.
same on 2 and 3.

in the mixer i can see how it switch between the several pads.

is this maybe a bug?
is there somebody with the same problem?

i updated my 2500 to OS 1.2

Tested it today.....its a pad problem....I think ..did a pad test {shift} a/b/c/d and pad 13 sticks when I hit it onces and take my finger off it... I can still see when I click {after} the pad sticking at 14 when all my other pads stay at zero after they are hit

taking it back ....!
