My cubase dont detect my mpc 1000

Ok first of all I will like to welcome myself to this website. Ok this is my problem I been reading every thing about cubase and mpc 1000 and how they work together. I have cubase and a mpc 1000. Can you use your usb cable to make beats on cubase or if you cant tell me what other equipment I need. But if you can tell me every single step even the little tiny cum. Please tell me cause i need to know thanks

the usb is is for data trnsfer only ...are you trying to trnsfer beats already made on the mpc.. to cubase or are you trying to use the mpc pads and make the track on cubase ... i probably cannot answer but the next person to answer will prob need a little more info on what you are actually trying to do ..

ok if you cant use a usb port to make beats on cubase what equipment I need. I already have a m- audio MOBILE PRE USB

Get a soundcard, midi cables and a 1/4" cable to transfer the beats from the MPC to Cubase. or Since you have the 1000, you can re-sample it in there and take it straight from the MPC as a WAV. Check the manaul for resampling and use the search function to find classics video on how to set everything up with the soundcard and wires. Peace. If your just trying to make a beat in Cubase (sequence and everything) figure that sh*t out on your own. Peace.

Cables going into your audio interface from ya mpc. But I dont know how many channels can your audio interface track. But what excaty are you trying do make beats into cubase. Or make beats on the mpc and tehn track everything out??
