here are some various hornstabs and onehit sounds that I sampled
from vinyl-
in respect of all y'all diggin out there,I feel like sharing-
so-DIG IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
let me know if ya get any use out of them-
the file is 13 meg compressed-and has 3 programs for the mpc1000-
one is straight up horn hits-another is a variety of lounge hits-and last is more"rokk/pop/r&b styled

Ok i downloaded and listened to them and I must say these are some great samples. I am no sample head so I dont know much about sampling/crate digging but I have a question.

Did you sample "Mr. Postman" for ne of these sounds?

I didnt sample mr postman-but i am glad you enjoyed them-and hope you get some use outta them-theyre mostly from late 50zz RCA label stuff like marty gold,henry mancini,-some xtc,lee michaels,isaac hayes,etc-
i think y'all can use them without getting in trouble cuz its only one note mostly-please someone correct me if i am wrong here.
i will be sharing more in the future-working on some heavy drums from late 60zz-early 70zzz rock bombast-it's tough making a balanced sounding drumkit from different albums,but i am finding that records recorded by one engineer in the UK in particular all sound similar and HUGE-
i know not everyone likes huge,but i got hiphop drums galore,and need more variety-:):)
