Because i want it thats how , should be easy to add in a os update there just changing the routing from the sampler to a sequence instead of to a pad. I saw it in the 2500 forum but i dont know how many 1k users browse other mpc ( 2k , 3k , 4k, ect ) areas. Just trying to spread the kowledge.

Here's an extended version with some extra tracks from a sound module:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nj2O-ExYzH4

It's really useful for me with my Proteus 2000. I've got it hooked up via SPDIF and i've got input thru set to on.

Allows me to record the proteus straight into the track witohut having to sample it, assign it then chop and lay it down or whatever.

Just a shame my keyboard skils aren't too hot, takes me a few attempts to get something down

As guesswhosback said, it saves a fair bit of time but definitely can be worked around

I agree this feature would be sweeet on the mpc1000.
And easy to implement in an OS update.
Another to add to the list! :)

Do you think this will become a feature or will they over look it on the 1k?
