Are you talking about MIDI or AUDIO connection of the units?
And do you mean recording MIDI data or AUDIO data into the MPC?
MIDI:
MIDI Out of the soundmodule into the MIDI In of the MPC.
MIDI In of the soundmodule into the MIDI Out of the MPC.
-Set the MIDI channel of the track on that the MPC is playing the soundmodule to the MIDI channel on that the soundmodule is receiving.
-Set the MIDI channel on that the soundmodule is playing to the MIDI channel of the track that the MPC is recording on.
(If you are recording in "S"ingle channel mode on the MPC, that is the track you currently have selected.
If you are recording in "M"ulti channel mode, the data will be recorded to a certain track that has been selected whithin the multi channel recording setup screen)
AUDIO:
All (Main-) Audio Out´s of the MPC and the soundmodule to the In´s of the mixer or soundcard that you are using.
