SYSTEM TEST, What the hell does this mean?

I had enough. I will not turn my MPC back on until I receive a new OS. I just got the dreaded System Test bug.....

I'm glad I never loaded OS 1.2 onto my machine

Akai better release a new OS soon, i don't want to make any beats when I know this could happen again.

Should I go back to 1.o1 ? I think I should, but then all the stuff i made with the new O.S. wont work right?

Ok. Now that I got the System Test error..I can no longer use my MPC. Even holding down the window open key while powering up does not work.

do I need to load 1.2 on the cf card when i press the window button or can I use 1.1????? because its not working with 1.1

This is the story...... got the system test bug.....tryed loading up 1.2 again and it didnt work......loaded up 1.1 and its working now.....had to deal with a 45 min trek in the rain to grab my homies 1000 to download the os....so I m sticking with 1.1 f*uck this bullshit! I m pissed seriously! but at the same time glad i dont have to take it back for now

At least you can load OS 1.1. I can not get around System Test. It will not load any OS. It I try, the screen will just turn blank and do nothing else

Listening to these stories have me shook! Im gonna act exspediently and put the old os on my cf just in case i need it.. Im scared to turn this shit off.. I cant afford the downtime that STE could cause.. This is like the bird flu.. The impending danger has people starting to panic!

seeing how many ppl just on this board are getting this error, i can only imagine all the other ppl out there that are experiencing this... akai better get a way to fix this ASAP, otherwise they are going to have A LOT of pissed off people sending that shit back for something else

this makes me not want to bother with trying to obtain the 2500 again at the moment, at least not until they work out the kinks

i just got back my MPC from VST. It has OS 1.2 installed. I guess they just reinstalled the OS. I'm scared to use it now. I think I'm going to leave it on until OS 1.3. haha
