Alter tempo/pitch of a phrase while it is playing?

Hi all,

Just got a 1000 yesterday -- within 10 minutes I regretted wasting 5 years playing laptop.

I have one question, and I couldn't find an answer in the manual for it:

Suppose I've got a long sample playing -- like a minute long. Is there any way to alter the sample's rate of playback (the side effect of pitch sliding, turntable-style, is fine) while the sample is playing?

In other words, I don't want to retrigger it, I want the tempo/pitch to alter mid-play.

assign it to a Q-link slider for realtime on tune, and there you go

Gotcha. The reason I couldn't do that before is that I didn't know there was a 2.0 OS, that made this enhancement.
