mac to mpc static-- ??

Okay, I posted this topic before, but I'm still having problems.

I'm getting mad static/fuzz with the mpc record in to the mac out. Someone suggested it may be the cord I was using, but I tried a different one and the same problem is there.

Any suggestions?

Not sure. maybe your 'line in' has taken all it can give.
the solution might be pick up a "imic" it's basically just a usb adapter that gives you another stereo in and stereo out.

I use it, no static or anything.
