thanks guys but I found what i was looking for wile trying your tips.
just wanted to post so it helps somebody else.
When I select a sound that I want to use as a bass line, piano part etc...using the Autochromic feature. I follow the instructions on setting it up
MODE>PROGRAM>scroll over to tune colume>WINDOW>hit AUTO>DO IT
and its done. turn on my motif and press the keys. great!
the problem i had was when I hit one Key and then hit another the first key I hit would still be playing(sustaining).
What I had to do was:
MODE>PROGRAM>hit PARAMS and then change POLY to MONO (upper right). Now the notes only sustain if you hold the key down.
I still has to play around with the other features....to so if i can tweak something else
