this is something very importent i almost forgot about....
This is the LOOP, that DJ-T sent me yesterday as to start the drums of with as an opportunity... as u can hear in my track, i only used the snare to the very beginning of the bassdrum in the start plus the roll, to flip it in a kinda off-beat type-of-fashion...

I woulda never started out the beat this way, if it wasen't for T comming up with the loop, so I gotta give him mad credit for that...

PEACE, stan

If u dig the thread where I posted the Sample he was talkin stuff... I just wait If he's gonna stick to what he said.

"wait untill you hear what im going to do with it" were his words...

I'm gonna wait.... and if he comes up with something hot, I give him credit for that for sure.

We are all here for the same course at least, I guess. Breaking boundaries and reaching new levels in terms of pushing things forward so to speak. So JUST DO IT ;)

this wasn't a bad battle and you've got arrangement/synth skills

i'm saying if you and capshun do give this a shot, it'll be a good one.

i saw what he said in the other post. i tried playing with this sample too but ended up just not using it in favor of a koto sample i found hah w/e

human feel is NOT about wrong notes... it's about a sense of timing that's more emotive and organic than what grid quantinization gives you.

(insert geen text above)

the latter is something 90% of the people on this forum and FP could stand to learn. end quantization...

^^^ yup yup .. co sign fa sho .. i rarely quantize if i can help it ... most times just the hats and sometimes not that

Jimbo that shit is heat.

I think the original 2 were both horrible, i heard that piano and walked away. I wasn't feeling the synths in the 2nd one. Jimbo won that one.

Peace.

I meant I didn't like the beats because of the sounds that were used.
