I know that this question undoubtedly gets asked frequently, but I've done a bit of a search on here, looked through the manual (sorry ColeyCole, couldn't find it in there), but no luck as of yet.

How do you set it so that each pad cuts off the previous one pressed? I realise that you can specify in 'program' two or so pads to mute an individual pad, but is there not a way to set it so that every pad mutes the one previous to it?

I'm presuming there is, but I'm not finding it.

shift program, select the drum program u wanna change, then select parameters (f2) then scroll over to the bottom rite side of the screen and adjust it from poly to mono or note off.

to make a pad mute another, hit open window on the poly, mono, note off function.

Thanks, but that's not quite what I was talking about. I already realised how to do that, but as I said in the first post, is there a way to make EVERY pad mute the one which was playing previous to it automatically, as opposed to going through each one and specifying 'mute when pad __ is pressed'?

Ha. Well actually, it's not even in the manual. I've just realised you can't even do it on the XL. Oh well.
