MPC 2XL & VS-2480

wassup y'all. got a question to all the owners of the vs-2480's (roland). i have an mpc & a vs-2480. i've did all the necessary connections but i still can't get sound (but i see an input signal). what's the deal? help me out. thanks.[/b]

well, the problem is, is that i can't get sound from my MTR. my MPC & fantom are hooked up to the inputs of the VS but it ain't producing no sound. i've done about everything & the book is like... MAADD user unfriendly. i don't know what's up.

Well do you have monitors/speakers/headphones connected? Also do you have the input volume up and where do you have the speakers/monitors/headphones connected?

everything is connected like it's supposed to be connected- all the jacks are in the right place. i'm reading the manual right now. hopefully, i can figure this monstrosity out.
p.s.
my studio may not be as sophisticated as yours but it's getting up there... i finally got my monitors. i'll try to send a picture of my gear.

My studio has nothing to do with yours. I dont have an expensive studio I just know how to get good deals.
