I'm new with the mpc's and i just got a 1k and have a question when recording a sequence.

Its default at 2/2 then after that it goes into overdub. 2/2 ws too short for me when i was making my song so i made it 4/4.

now my drums dont fit 4/4 exactly because it ends a little before the loop begins so there is a pause. How do i make sequences that fit? i mean i know i dont have to create stuff that fit the timing of 4/4 exactly. I'm used to the roland fantom which just let u play whatever without it going into overdub.

thanks

Just mess w/ it and you'll get it. It comes in time.

if you dont want it to loop at the end of the 4 bars or whatever, turn LOOP off in the main screen. it'll just keep going until you hit stop.

it's in the manual too...

I think he means the count is too slow, he shoud turn his tempo up.
