Yo whats gon on ya'll?? I have a minor dilemma hopefully someone can help me out. k so here it goes:

I recently purchased some kingston RAM upgrading to a 256. Now my sample time in my mpc is a little over 11 minutes. When I look at my internal memory the MPC says I have a total of 117.7 MB of free WAVE.

Now I recently decided to customize my mpc with all the drum kits saved onto the internal memory. This is so I dont have to load up my drum kits everytime I turn on the MPC.

The problem is when I try to save my programs and samples on the internal memory I can only save up to about 5 MB. After that the MPC says "File To Big: Cant Execute". I dont understand why I cant save these programs when the MPC says I have so much Wave space. Anyways. Any input would be greatly appreciated.coo.thanks.

Peace

ram is temp storage(ie while mps s on )..to save while mp is off ... you need either a hard drive or larger compact flash card

Yea that makes sense. I guess I'll need to start reading up on hard drives. Thanks for the help.

Peace.
