listening to the beat

i need help ive got an mpc2000 and ive made beats and saved them but when i put the floppy into the pc it cant read the file. i need to know how listen to them on the pc do i need a program for the pc? plz help

you can use your mpc main out into your soundcard input. or if you have a mixer, just run the mixer out to you computer input.

then record into whatever audio editor you have

ive got a mixer turntable midi and the mpc the midi isnt hooked up at the mo . im kinda new to this stuff i would i record on the pc just by hooking it up.cheers

tried hooking it up but maybe ive done it wrong im using cool edit pro and fruity loops on the pc and theres no sound coming from the pc
