faster way to stop samples...

instead of pressing the stop button three times , i figured out a better way , u press Stop, then press the the button by the play start where where it says Bar on tha top and Step in tha bottom , its rite next to play start by tha way , that should immdediatly stop wutever u sample , even if its long .

couldnt you just assign a blank pad in the same mute group, although it will use up a pad.

Hmm...you know u could just STOP and press MODE>PAD 6 (TRIM) this automatically stops it.

but the only thing is u have to press MAIN to get back to the main screen.

Well kinda it was in the studio i use run to after skool.lol. and ma time was limited on it so i had to work fassttttt. thats how the Trim thing came about for me.lol

Those were the good/bad times...walkin away from that MPC was like a kidney transplant.hahahaha

would be cool if it could have stopped my MIDI tracks, they still seem to play and still require me to push stop 4 times to stop my external synth but nice find anyway

i dont mind hitting the stop button three times but im sure it does...its hella loose and i need to fix it. ha

Antonym pointed out (in another thread I think) that you can actually only hit the step button... you don't even have to press stop. Just wanted to throw that in here since I didn't see it already.

^^^Only when playing just a sample but seatowns method stops everything, anywhere.

yes only samples in the mpc, not your external gear , well not mine at least
