watsup ppls this is my first time on this web. i signed up coz i thought someone wud be able 2 help me. i got the 2500 recently (2months)n i swear this shit has a bug on it, some times wen i use it, it acts so strange, like if i press a button another thing happens. last nite i was working on a beat 4 like 5 hours n all or a sudden the whole screen went all blur, nxt second "128mb installed" appeared on the screen which is wat it shows me wen i 1st turn it on (if u have one of this u'd know wat i mean). then it went back 2 the MAIN page n i realised dat the machine had restarted on its on n i'd lost the beat i'd spend time on. this is the second time this is happening 2 me,other wierd stuff has happened as well dat i jus can't explain n e one got a similar problem? or can n e one help?

I dont own an mpc2500 but its a bunch of people experiencing all kinds of problems with it.

Read around in the mpc2500 while u wait for a response.

Sounds like you are using OS 1.0B. At least that is my best guess. Have you tried installing OS 1.1? The latest version is 1.2, but it has its quirks as well.

i d/loaded d version 1.2 n like u said jahrome dis shit still has its quirks.it acted up on me again.it froze on me n turned off my pc wen i connected it tru USB. dat happened b4 n after i updated it 2 the 1.2 version.is dis som'n dat only akai can fix or can i bring it 2 a shop dat fix keyboards n stuff? or wat u saying jahrome, dat i shud d/load d 1.1 version instead?

I wonder why I am not experiencing any of these problems. Is there something I should try to reproduce these bugs?
