Is the timing tight on the mp 2500 like the xl? I've used the search button but i've had no luck.

It's still an mpc isn't it?

If you go to the 1000 forum there is a thread called 1000 sloppy timing proven or something like that. There you can hear a comparison between the 1000 and 2500.

I also see that "kickinit" is in Cali but doesn't own an MPC, you can find a guitar center or another place near you can't you and go test them out. Maybe before you buy one you wanna know how they feel and work. People can tell you all day long but if you are in a place where you can "play" with them why don't you just do that.

It's your 5 senses and workflow vs other people words.

The only thing I can think of is bugs maybe that make it not as tight but it's an mpc so if all is well it should be tight just like the rest of them.

I've played with the 2500 also. I have an xl, played with some of the others too, all tight timing.

Bugging or not get the 2500 ,why because the machine is bad, it's like having a mid size 4000. I'm getting one around Christmas. I had the XL and now have the 1k, that machine is a monster! 8)
