yup, anytime you stop one of the notes, they all stop.

you can use one shots or long release times to play multiple notes in 16 level. it's not ideal though.

input thru kills it for cutting over your beat with a delay aka making your scratching sound a billion times better

i'm not sure there are no animals living in my footswitch jacks, never put anything in there

I don't like the sound of timestretching, normally... but i'm going to start trying it out more just to get weird f'ed up sounds.


When I got the mpc I just Sliced samples and created Programs with it. Since I wasn't familiar with Patched Phrases I simply once created a patched phrase insteaed of slices and noticed that u still have a stereo-sample whereas if u just chop the sample and slice it, you just get a mono (either left or right channel) output...

i do use the step edit very useful


i use the q links but prob not for the right reasons.. i only use them to edit start and stop times of samples have not quite figured out how to use them any other way



i am def using song mode and seq edit now dont see how was not using song mode before still dont use q sliders much
