SCSI cables

Yo, are the SCSI cables connecting to a cd-rom and zip-drive typically universal? I just bought a cd-rom drive with scsi cable for my 2000xl, and the other day purchased a zip-drive w/o scsi. Will I need a separate cable for the zip?

No scsi cables come with different types of connectors.
Yes you will need a extra cable to connect your zip drive. Basicaly you need to connect the zip to your mpc and you cd drive to the other scsi port of your zip drive. Make sure to set the termination on your CDROM 'ON' and on the Zipdrive 'OFF'.
