well, im getting a 1K and i seen those samples for sale on ebay. Are they real or just some bullshyt??

and they come on CD's... how would i get the sample to my 1K??

BTW!!!!

when i was downloading FL6 from bearshare i saw downloads named AKAI Samples... are they playable on the 1K???

You might wanna be careful when sayin certain things on this board but ne ways if they are .wav files then you can use them on the 1k. If its on a cd u either put it on a cf card or transfer it over via USB.

Other file compatability:
MPC2000XL SEQ, ALL, PGM, WAV (When PGM file is loaded, only pad assign is loaded. Other edit parameters are ignored.)
MPC4000: SEQ, ALL, WAV (No compatibility of PGM)
MPC3000: No compatibility
Z4/8: WAV only
S1000/3000: No compatibility

i got some a sound cd from ebay for an asr 10 i had (not a 1000 but anyway). i got them and i had to SOMEHOW transfer them to floppy on my computer. that sh!t never worked for me. bullsh!t. i aint tryin to scare anyone but ill never buy sounds from ebay again.

i hate to break it to some of you guys, but the mpc1k is a SAMPLER!!! this means you don't need to buy sounds, but can actually make your own!
