MIDI Help Hotline

So I've been producin a couple years using some basic setups
and i just copped the MPC2000XL
The keyboard I use is a Casio CTK-496
and I connected a single MIDI cable going from the MIDI Out ont he keyboard to the MIDI In 1 on the back of my MPC
I presed Shift>MIDI/Sync on the MPC and cot damn am i lost.
Can anybody out there help me out

What do u want to do? That keyboard i dont believe is capable of accessing a bunch of midi channels at once. Does it have an oboard sequencer?
