editing on the 60II

ok so i edit and zone my sample how do i get it to save permanently (not chopping just tweeking my sound piece)

been busy and i am still reading manual so im not all the way thru but it doesnt really say as far ias i have read

you just save the sound. It won't chop the end/start off without being instructed to do so with the "del before soft end/start" in the sample edit screen

ok so i get into the temp memory but when i save the sample ii still get the original instead of the cleaned up piece
dont know if im not looking at the manual right but
do i need to copy it too a empty pad or a silenced pad ?

if you could help a brother out...it would be cool

You need to be more clear. Maybe it's just me but I have no idea what you're trying to do. Maybe I could help if I knew...
