Well done for this Akai.

Now let's get the beta testing underway :wink:

No mention in the addendum of the note repeat being fixed. Can anyone confirm if the problem is still there?

I'm not planning to install 1.21 unless i get the system test bug.

i updated, it seems to be ok, but when i it was writing flash rom it froze at 98%

whats up with that?

How did you update?
Did you power up while holding in the 'WINDOW' button (with the OS on the Root Directory of a CF card) or did you load the file as you would a sample/program?
Also, did the OS actually install? ('Mode' + 'Other')

i just tried to update from the load screen and it gets stuck at 98%. I then tried to update at the startup by holding window and after it updates it says os data error.

i had the same problem with it freezing at 98%. did it again. same thing. then i reset the mpc by restarting holding erase and installed it again and it worked. now the mpc is working fine (so far)

I hope there is no problem with this one, maybe we gotta working normally
to the future, cuz the 2500 is the mpc with the most problems.

someone please put up a post if theres any problems after it freezing at 98%

i havnt had a chance to play around after the install

might just go back to 1.2 just to be safe, that installed fine

OS 1.21 AAAAAA++++++ just hold shift and window at start up when ONLY your OS 1.21 is in FC

I havent had any probs with 1.2 so I will pass on 1.21 until You guys test it.
