In order to record sounds from your mpc in cubase you need to connect the AUDIO (sound) outputs of your mpc to the ADUIO inputs of the Audio interface of your computer.

MIDI is NOT AUDIO!!!!

It seems like you don't even grasp the absolute basics, so my advice is to read up a little to understand what midi is exactly about and how it relates to audio.

The fact is that you nowhere mentioned any audio connections going from the MPC to your audiofile interface so I assumed you did not have these connections, once a gain; I can only give answers based on the info you provide since I can't see your setup.

Ok i might have totaly wrong here :s but ill try..
ive got my mpc 1000 midi cables audiophile usb soundcard, and cubase sx 3.
Now, ive read something about the settings i should have on my mpc 1000.
And that is all done.
Now to cubase, im pretty lost att that, but if i create a miditrack and "install" my mpc 1000. There should be some sound coming up in cubase? :s
I think my problrm is that i really dont know how to setup cubase to work with my mpc.
I really hope you get me, on my fup english.

Thank you Afektion I thought I was loosing my mind.

MIDI is not AUDIO !!!!!!!!!!!!

It really is not, and as said b4 please read up on basic knowledge, you can't expect us to read manuals for you, you might as well send your gear over and ask people to make the beat for you.

Let's start all over again.

1.You made a beat on your mpc?

What do you use cubase for ?

in order to hear sound from the 1000, you will need AUDIO cables..

you run the audio cables from the OUTPUTS of the 1000(which is playing the sound) and into the audio INPUTS on your sound card.

what are you using cubase for? to record and mix your beat? if so you need audio cables not midi..
