Yo, when i record off vinyl wit my 1000, it only records thru the left speaker. I'm wonderin if there's some kinda obscure setting that needs to be changed cause i looked in the manual and couldn't find it. Anybody know?

What is even stranger is that it´s obviously using the speaker as a sampling device!?..

Welll...Then TEST Both Sides of the MONO. See if they both work..Meaning LEFT AND RIGHT...If one doesnt work, you must have a loose wire...And if your recording from vinyl using a needle and a turntable and one side is lower than the other, then check the wires on your needle..If not the needle is broken..

2 in stereo out, & 2 in record in

and if you change the two cables around, does the sound then come through the right speaker? if so, it's your tt/dj mixer that's the trouble, try checking those.
