Slicing a sample into 16 regions and assigning to sep pads

Has anyone noticed that when you chop a sample into, lets say 16 slices, then export them to sep pads, the sound quality went to sh!t!?

Im going to slice it again, and select "No" when it asks if I want to autoassign and see if that is the problem.

By the way, thats a nice setup you got. I peeped that video you made.

I just reread what u typed. It shouldnt matter whether or not you select yes or no. WHen u select YES all your doing is creating a new program which will not change how your pads sound

i have definitely thought about doing this. but haven't built up the balls yet. i don't like my job but it is stable as F**k and i'm not trying to lose it.

there are not enough hours in the day to balance the relationship between work, girlfriend, MPC, friends.

LMAO .... I knew that was coming. I sold the 2000xl cause I was strapped for cash. And I also thought I could get away with just using SoundForge and Recycle to chop and then put the chops into Reason. But that shyt is mad tedious!!! I found a used 1000 for $500 at Atomic Music.

Here's my workflow now:
Load the 1000 with 5-6 loops that I chop from vinyl at night, take the 1000 to work and chop away. I do that Monday to Friday, then on the weekends, I take all my chops(which are different individual beats by now) and load them into ReDrum in reason and add some more special sauce, mix, master and serve. Im liking this work flow. Its like Im making beats 24/7.

Im on Computer Troubleshoot Phone Support. So, when the phones arent ringing... thats when I fire up the 1000.
