how do you trim beats faster?

wondering after guesstimating for 30 minutes.

your help will be appreciated.

use cool edit, soundforge, recycle,......
much faster.

yeah use the USB connection and chop then open with MPC1000. peace

in case you dont know, you can hold down shift and the left arrow key. this moves the cursor over and you can scroll thru the #'s in larger increments. a lot of the other akai stuff is like that too

I find that zooming and switching back and forth from log to linear views assists me more than anything else, to get a nice smooth loop.

Have you read the Tutor's tutorial on looping sounds? It's quite good.
