anyone know the bassline sample for eric b & rakim's juice(know the ledge)

I think he might have just used the low end theory so if he did it's Nat Adderley "ride sally ride"

ok so i've searched on low end theory and all i can come up with is that it is a way to make bass samples...what excatly is low end theory? other then a great tribe record.
