Bob James "Two"

I want it. Haven't seen it anywhere yet. Saw it today for 20 bucks in pretty good condition.

Is it worth it?

Yeah I know everybody else here probably has it...

id say just hold out and keep digging... i copped "ONE" for $15 bucks, then a month or two later, found it again for $1... itll show up for cheap sooner or later... its not the most common record, but if you get your dig on frequently, your bound to come across a good deal on it someday... $20 is a lil steep, but if you really want it, it may be worth it to you...

A similar thing happened to me. I saw "one" for $10 and I decided to wait and I ended up finding it somewhere else for $5. That's why I didn't buy "two" today. I guess I can wait.


Anyone else been to the Streetlight Records on 24th? Is it just me or is that place extremely expensive?

I would say just make sure it's a gatefold if you spend more that $5......hahahaha

one thing I've learned is not to pass up oppurtunities. If you really want it, buy it, 'cause you never know when you'll come across it again ...Unless it's priced real high... Like the copy of TWO I saw the other week at a fair which was $60AUD. But again, it was mint and I would've copped it if I really wanted to. I ended up getting a copy of One instead. I've wanted that for ages.

I picked up one for $0.33, then I found two for about $1.00.
So keep lookin' and you'll find it at a good price.
It's got some good stuff on it.

damn... one and two are that expensive? i got one for free, and two for like a buck

i got several copies of two, i think. bob james is plentiful in the issues library

Whats a gatefold?

My home boy sold me One - Four for 25$ all in good shape.

Friday I found an OG of Two for I think eight bucks, I put it on hold for pick up on friday.

A gatefold cover or gatefold LP is a form of packaging for LP records which was popular in the late 1960's and early 1970's. A gatefold cover, when folded, is the same size as a standard LP cover (i.e., a 12 inch, or 30 centimetre, square). The technique has been used for many notable LPs, in particular The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The larger gatefold cover provided a means of including artwork, liner notes, and/or song lyrics that would otherwise not have fit on a standard record cover. Gatefold sleeves were also used when an album contained more than one record (for example, a double-album would include one record in each half of the cover).

Gatefold packaging was invented, and first used by, band leader and studio recording pioneer Enoch Light, so he could fit prose he had written describing the sounds in each song on the album sleeve.
