how to find out how much RAM it has...

hi...

i'm getting an MPC2000xl off this dude on eBay.

i asked him if it's maxed out to 32MB, but he doesn't know how to tell.

i'd tell him to open it and see, but i don't want him to mess it up.

how can i tell without opening the case?

please let me know ASAP.

from the main screen, press shift+sample, that takes you to the sample screen, from there highlight analog, and press open window, that should tell you how much memory you have

will it say it in MB or KB, and if it's in KB, what should it read???

It' l tell you in MB.....Ie 32 Megabytes Installed etc

For future ref. KB's make up MB's.......1024KB make up 1 MB

when he does that and spins that data dial if it goes past 10.9 its more than 2mb.....tell him to get the number then come back and we will tell you what you working wit

10.9 is stero and 21.8 is mono
