hi everybody i have one question. I know everybody did a song on you mpc 1000 before so after you done with the whole song how do you make it play on your computer. Do you need some kind of converter or just need something else.

here is the PDF manual. read it, read it some more, read it again.

but basically you will need either a decent soundcard/midi interface for your pc to record it in.

there are a few other ways of doing it. but none are really good.

On another post someone told me about the midi interfaces (the usb adapters) but said the timing sucks when using it with reason. Is this still true for using them for recording.

I don't know if anyone knows the answer to this but it is related to the interfaces. Would using a docking station be more affective as far as quality goes than one of the midi interfaces(the usb adapters)?

yea homie!! :D go hear m-audio.com and click on products and click on usb midi interfaces... and then buy one that your that fits your needs or that you like.. thhen after go to software on that page m-audio.com and buy either pro tools or live lite 5! i recomend live lite 5! its great for any production studio and its pretty simple to you's! just hook up your mpc to the interfase with midi cables that you can pusrchase at your local guitar center etc etc... and then hook up the interfase to the computer using a usb cable or your own. holla back if ya need any more info playa!
