a question for you all...
Im intending on using s/pdif to get the sounds from the MPC into the computer and vice-versa to avoid a soundcards convertors. Now..
Because the signal at no point gets converted from analogue-digital etc..
does it benefit having an expensive soundcard.Lets say a £90 card with s/pdif compared to a £1000 apogee card with s/pdif? I expect so but because of avoiding the convertors i just dont know.
Would I have jitter problems with the cheaper card?
Digital tranfers is all new to me... cheers......

i use usb and it works just fine to transfer the raw audio files.

if you want to record the master (spdif) out of the mpc, i also do this and use the audiophile 24/96 works great!
