is there a way to change a sample from stereo to mono on the mpc2500? am i just not seeing something here?

I don't think its there, which is stupid... they shouldn't have gotten rid of that function.

Did the 2000/2000XL have that function?!

I don't understand why they removed it neither... Thouht the 2500 was suposed to be the 2000XL replacer.

and how chopshop automatically changes all stereo samples to mono...

wtf is that, im starting to not like my 2500 as much as i once did

use extract in the chop shop to extract stereo slices .....

aswell u can resample your stereo sample in mono

can you explain how i resample a stereo sample to mono without chopping it into 2 parts? even if i do this and extract it still keeps it in stereo

yep ...............(mode) record ......input:main out ... then record the right or left side which ever u want .... it will re record your sample in mono

i knew how to do that....

itd be alot easier if theyd just put the resample feature back on
