has anybody been making a beat on the 2.5k and when they hit a pad the sample drops out like you just get a click but when it plays back it plays the whole sample. this shit has been happening to me alot recently.

like i'll do one track and then the next the sounds will start dropping out and shit.

anybody have the same problem?

I've gotten something similar. In my case it like when you run out of polyphony. I'll hit a pad and I hear that it was hit, but when it plays back ill only hear the pad where no other note was playing (and yes, it ws not part of a mute group). This has happened on pieces of no more than three tracks at the time. Now that i think aobut it, I think I did have exactly what you describe happen this weekend. I didn't give it too much attention because I was actually troubleshooting another problem I as having.

Just ran into it today. I have used up pthe first 16 tracks of a sequence.I have like 5 different drum tracks (tracks 12 through to 16) then my samples (different sections of a sample spread out across tracks 1 to 8) Each sample is no more then two bars long.

My samples would then start to drop out whenever i added a new drum track sometimes even just adjusting the high hat pattern would cause the samples to cut out mid play.

I have the 128 memory expansion and am usicng the 1.22 OS. I have only noticed this problem when I started to use long loops in my songs. How can i check if I really am running out of Poly channels/memory?
