"End of File!!!" error message?

A new error message popped up on my 1000 today. When I transfer any of my beats saved on my harddrive to the MPC via the USB cable I get this scary END OF FILE!!!! message after it's loaded most of the sounds. The result is that all the sequences of the beat are there, with some random sounds that play, but for the most part they're empty sequences. All my sounds are loaded up on the pads, but it won't play the songs the way i saved them.
Just another frustrating error i've experienced with the new OS. (I now am convinced that the IPT-Project files that are created when you use input monitoring are evil and the source of the many issues i've been having with my MPC... but maybe that's crazy talk.)

If anybody knows what the deal is with the END OF FILE!!! bullshit, I'd be extremely thankful for some help!

I seem to be getting this error a lot lately as well. The only difference is I can't load my sam,pels at all which is a complete pain.

I beleive it has something to do with how I drop my files from my MAC onto the CF Card. When I drop my files my MAC says "there isnt enough room on the card". Afterwards I click ok and the file still drops on the external drive. The strange thing about this is I have more then enough room on my compact flash card. Yet it continues to say I dont have enough room. My MPC has recently started to do this it never use to. I can't even save samples on one of my CF cards (MPC brand name card) when im sampling directly into my MPC. I'm getting extremly frustrated with the whole situation. I don't think it's an issue with my flash cards becasue I have the same problems with all of them (Sandisk 512, Lexar 256 (peice of crap),MPC 1000 32)

i have a feeling this happens after you get the directory error after saving over something else

so don't overwrite stuff, instead just create a new folder/delete the old folder - AFTER you save the new one so you don't lose your shit.

i used to experience it too, and every now and then i still get it. it SEEMS to be linked to the D. error.

i am convinced that the japanese genius will fix this bug in os 3.0

I really hope there is someone out there that can fix this problem. I hate to say this but I have some issues with creating folders on my mpc. When I try and make a new folder my MPC says system error. Do you suffer from this bug as well? I just recently found out how to create folders but has never been succesful in doing so.
