If bugs aint found they aint gonna be fixed...

Why should we settle for anything less than a perfect machine after droppin a lot of cash on it?

The thing i dont agree with is all the moaning 'oh i should have bought a 4000' 'the 2500 sucks' etc etc

Whiners piss me off

Yeah i just got around opening my 2500 and its OK so far. Its build is quite good and has a nice layout (better layout than my XL). Not had much play with it. Im shure its the same as everyone else. But for now im gonna continue using my xl and 4k.

I still can't stop thinking why Akai release buggy products in the first place. When you buy a new Korg workstation it just works. What kind of machine crashes when you go to save your work? Akai really needs to solve these basic issues.

Who you calling a muppet anyhow ? If you come across a bug it should be posted...I guess , When you push a button and your machine resets itself while your in the mddle of a project thats Ok....You would be ok with that and not share it with others ? If your not feeling the forum GO AWAY you won't be missed I promise.

Bah... I would go with Spirez on this one.

- It is important that we discuss the problems we have and try to help each others and give visibility to the more important/common issues.

- Nothing can revoke the fact that ~2000$ is a completely RIDICULOUS price for a machine that wouldn't work flawlessly in a professional studio

- People that whine for the sake of whining are a plague. With all due respect, all you are doing right now is the very thing you object too: trolling.

well bought my 2500 knowing I like the extra features better then my 2000.... then 5 months down the road my pad 13 starts acting up on my 2500....and not working correctly ....sent it in ...they said it was a dead sensor...
....had my 2000 for 5 years.....not 1 problem with the pads EVER thats what makes it trusty aswell as a big study bugger!

.......bought my 2500 so I could use new features such as usb yada yada...... not expecting it to break..... and believe me I m soft with my equepment...

just thoughts

I d still take the features over the duribility any day~!

people should be reportin bugs no doubt bout that, so akai can patch it up with next OS release. im hoping they throw in some sweet features for to compensate for all the inconvenience... but shit gets annoyin when you see 5 threads every other day bout the same issue people been having already. people gotta know how to use search feature or make a sticky thread with all the bugs listed....my opinion 8)
