no i mean wat i was told is that if u try to use ur old programs on a pentium 6 or something it might not be compatible cus of the things it needs to run will be changed by then..... im not a comp. nerd but i know one example has been the key jams some programs use, the drivers wont run on newer comp. than the program was entended to work on. but i dont think they really sound better either- it just sounds like a computer to me and im talking about very nice stuff...... an mpc will always sound like an mpc and i dont need a hundred velocity layers to make it sound good..... and i can play and own most of the real instruments anyway so watever.

an mpc will never make a multisampled piano sound better than a 400mb vst/soundfont/giga/...


look i still can play vsts released back when i was using a pentium 2
anyways some people will always find the way to convert them

you could buy the most expensive hardware sampler, i bet you couldnt make the difference between it and a good vst, or tell me which was hardware and which was software.

i understand that playing a piano with an mpc makes it "special" someway, but there is no way you can play a convincing piece of music that way

listen lone dpilo... dont give me that shizzzz cus you know as well as i do that u can have the best program in the world vienna keys of rage or watever but if u got some crappy m-audio thing to hear it or send the audio then it dont even matter cus the converters suck and it sounds like a computer!!! even if u transfer it in the computer to a wav. it sounds like a computer! anyway im of french blood and i will be moveing to france in a year and will you help me out and tell me where i should go? im artist kind of wierd person and i need an environment of equal.... i was thinking of lyon or i forgot the names just a cool laid back place?? help!!!! se vu plea?????? :P

of course you cant play a piano on the pads!! but i got a controller, and i was talking about real instruments, not samples man... a real sax or piano, guitar. real tangible instruments recorded onto tape.

I don't understand why this is called multisamples. It's just one sound pr note.
